He was predeceased by: his wife Elizabeth L. Busekist (Cunningham); his parents, Walter Busekist and Olga Busekist (Kromphardt); his wife Betty; his son Michael Busekist; and his siblings, Robert Busekist, Arthur Busekist and Geraldine Arnold.

He is survived by: his daughters, Linda Merlino (Daniel) of Enfield, Cheryl Harrington (Robert) of Middleboro, MA and Susan Cooley (Robert) of Litchfield, NH.; his grandchildren, Blair, Mary, Jacob, Blue, Rob and Sam; and his great grandchildren, Logan, Theo and Meadow. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations in Cliff's honor may be made to Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer, Enfield, CT.
