He was predeceased by: his parents, Warren Stanhope and Mary Stanhope (Sheedy); and his wife Linda. He is survived by: his children, Patricia Cochran (Jacob) of Suffield and Gary Stanhope (Alexandra) of Enfield; his grandchildren, Trenten Stanhope, Kameron Mayers and Alex Bouchard; and his sister Claire Grant of Fayetteville, NC..
