She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank McGinnis and Delia McGinnis (Conley); her husband Taisto Nurmi; her daughter Patricia Singlar; her granddaughter Jennifer O'Neill; and her siblings, John, Lawrence, Francis McGinnis, Winnie Leland and Mary Millett.
She is survived by: her children, Stephen Nurmi (Cheryl) of Windsor, Laura Breton (Richard) of Enfield, Maureen Ireland of Manchester and Karen Nurmi of Enfield; her grandchildren, Jillian Nurmi, Stephenie Nurmi, Taisto Gonzalez, Patricia Krysiak, Nichole Sabal, Tyler Breton, Tanya Breton, Trevor Breton and Mathew Corning; and her great grandchildren, Gabby O'Neill, Jake O'Neill, Kailie McFarland, Owen McFarland, Noah McFarland, Elliot Krysiak, Sofia Krysiak, Rilee Breton, Tai Gonzalez and Rowyn Gonzalez. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
