He was predeceased by: his parents, William F. LaPorte, Sr. and Alice LaPorte (Rhoades). He is survived by: his wife Justine MacCarthy LaPorte; his daughter Lee Ann LaPorte Harper of Durham, CT; his son-in-law Phillip D. Harper; his son David E. LaPorte of Tolland, CT; his daughter-in-law Kristy LaPorte; his grandchildren, Jeffrey P. Tiedemann, Alyssa L. Tiedemann, Nicole H. LaPorte, Alexis D. LaPorte, Sarah M. Santone (Steve), Sean Harper (Meg), Jadelynn Silvia, Ariana Spanos (George), Maxwell Silvia and Zachariah Silvia; and his great grandchildren, Christopher Harper, Isabella Santone and Anastasia Spanos.
