It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Robert D. Townsend of Ellington, Connecticut, who passed away on April 20, 2021, at the age of 56, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother-in-law Joyce Leighton. He is survived by: his wife Tammy Townsend; his daughters, Jessica Bahler (Kurt Bahler), Tanya Hoffman (Daniel Hoffman) and Skylar Townsend (Andrew Main); his grandsons, Eli Bahler, Clint Bahler, Eivin Hoffman and Henry Hoffman; his parents, Douglas Townsend and Carol Townsend; and his brother Greg Townsend (Sherry Olko-Townsend).
