He is survived by: his parents, Richard J. Burns and Margaret Chouinard (Egolf); his children, David Burns and Julia Burns of Ellington, CT; his siblings, Kevin Burns (Shannin) of Somers, CT, Stephanie Hills (Keith) of Maynard, MA, Brian Magnier of Oregon and Maryanne Magnier of Washington, DC; and the mother of his children Doria Burns. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
