He was predeceased by: his wife Gloria E. Matthews; and his parents, Ellsworth Matthews and Hallie Matthews (Sawyer). He is survived by: his daughter Alison M. Harris (Phillip Dunham) of Tolland; his granddaughter Kristina Harris (Alex Shambach) of Camp Hill, PA; his great grandchildren, Gwendalyn and Addison; and his siblings-in-law, Dorothy and Alexander Usko of Westbrook.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Samsel & Carmon Funeral Home (419 Buckland Rd, South Windsor, CT 06074). A memorial service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
