Nancy Rosenthal Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Nancy Rosenthal of Easton, Connecticut, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 28, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid Nancy farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Nancy is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Jonathan; her sons, Geoffrey and Alex; and her parents, Brenda Levitt (Burton) and Monte Levitt.

Nancy made a number of valuable contributions to her profession and communities where she lived and worked.

Sharon Abrams wrote a sympathy message

“I had the pleasure to know Nancy from Greenwich Hospital. Nancy was always smiling and was always so approachable and down to Earth.. As a female Administrator, I always admired her for her ability to always be herself, and being herself was a gift to others. I saw her last Fall after many years and feel lucky to have reconnected. May you find comfort from those around you and know that Nancy , always as herself, had an impact on all of those around her.”

I'm share in the heartbreak of the people whose lives she blessed, but I love and will actively remember the sentiment of "...celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments." I will certainly be doing that each time her smiling face dances across my memory.”

I would help her with simple technology things and she would act as if I was a savior LOL She would help me with strategy and I was always very appreciative. She loved to talk about her boys, and we shared stories about raising young adults Nancy was also a generous supporter of my Closer to Free ride for the Smilow Cancer Center at Yale. Next week I dedicate my ride to her. Sending peace ☮️ and healing ❤️‍🩹”

“Nancy was one of the funniest and kindest souls I've ever known. I treasure all of those moments, our laughs, and all of the opportunities I had along the way to learn from her during our days at VP and BD.
