He was predeceased by : his parents, John Paul and Helen Malenfant (Ramsey); and his brothers-in-law, Robert P. Schwensfier and Bill T. Scott. He is survived by : his wife Luce Malenfant (Morissette) of East Windsor; his daughters, Crista A. Malenfant (Zachary Payne) of East Windsor, Jennifer M. Valentine (Charles Valentine III) of Bristol, TN and Heather R. Malenfant of East Windsor; his grandchildren, Chuck, Mikael and Natalia Valentine; and his siblings, Linda A. Schwensfier of Tolland, John E. Malenfant (Pat) of West Hartford and Lisa M. Scott of Manchester.

Visitation was held on Sunday, June 23rd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Carmon Funeral Home (807 Bloomfield Ave, Windsor, CT 06095). A funeral service was held on Monday, June 24th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Monday, June 24th 2024 from 12:30 PM to 12:45 PM at the St. Catherine's Cemetery (60 Rye St, Broad Brook, CT 06016).
