He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Agostinho Chaves and Irondina Chaves; his children, Michael Chaves (Adrienne Chickosky) of Vernon and Sabrina Hutchings (Randy Hutchings) of Vernon; his grandchildren, Lorelei Hutchings, Randy Hutchings Jr., Everly Chaves and Moxie Chaves; and his siblings, Fernando Chaves (Karen), Edward Chaves (Darlene), Berta Scott and Elia Conge. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
