He was predeceased by: his parents, Vincent McKechnie and Estelle McKechnie (Snape); and his sister Kathleen Gustafson. He is survived by: his wife Judith McKechnie (MacLachlan); his children, Michael B. McKechnie (Stephanie) of Mustang, OK, Deanna L. Rensing (Orzo Miller) of Breese, IL, Stuart D. McKechnie (Desarae) of Billings, MT, Sargent (Ben) of Havelock, NC and Kenneth G. McCaffrey (Jennifer) of Enfield; and his sister Christine McKechnie (Christopher Harrison) of Ellington. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren.
