She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob H. Betz and Elsie Mollenberg Betz; her former husband James M. Benson; her son James M. Benson, Jr.; her sister Janice Betz Dedecker; and her husband Robert Eckis.
She is survived by: her son Richard Betz Benson (Totney) of Westport, CT; and her grandson Richard Betz Benson, II. She is also survived by her sister, their boys, and her mother.
