With solemn reverence, we commemorate Sandra L. Kress of East Lyme, Connecticut, born in Charlton, Massachusetts, whose life came to an end on January 31, 2025 at the age of 82, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though Sandra may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Sandra touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George P. Stone and Hazel Ray Stone. She is survived by: her daughter Kimberly Kavanagh (Mark) of Arlington, VA; her granddaughter Cassandra Kavanagh; her sister Linda Denault of Charlton, MA; her niece Cheryl Guyan (Bill) of Merritt Island, FL; her great-niece Kelsey Sanchez; and her great-nephew Jeffrey Guyan. She is also survived by cousins and friends.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Charlton Federated Church (64 Main St, Charlton, MA 01507).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Mystic Aquarium, Mystic CT, of which she was a founding member.
