We are sad to announce that on February 27, 2025, at the age of 86, Maria Toufexis (East Lyme, Connecticut) passed away. She was predeceased by: her parents, Vasilios Mesologitis and Angeliki Mesologitis; her husband Epifanios Toufexis; and her siblings, Andonis, Kostas, Georgos and Maximos.
She is survived by: her children, Christina, Panagioti and Vasilios; her daughter-in-law Anna; her grandchildren, Athena, Mario, Athanasios and Angeliki; and also Kyriaki. She is also survived by siblings, cousins, nephews, nieces, Godchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the St. Sophia Hellenic Orthodox Church (200 Hempstead St, New London, CT 06320). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St. Sophia Greek Orthodox Church (200 Hempstead St, New London, CT 06320). A graveside service will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Flushing Cemetery (163-6 46th Ave, Flushing, NY 11358).
