Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Judith Layden (East Lyme, Connecticut), born in New London, Connecticut, who passed away at the age of 79, on February 22, 2018. She was predeceased by: her husband Justin Layden; and also Marcia Whitney (Layden). She is survived by: her son-in-law James Ethan Whitney of Waterbury; her grandchildren, David Whitney, Dawne Farrell (Charlie), Deanna Sioch (Scot) and Greg Prevost (Roseanne); her brothers, Roger, John Brailey (Joy) of Beavercreek and Bruce Brailey (Mary) of East Lyme; her sisters-in-law, Pat Whiting (Al) and Janice; her children, Michelle, Brenda, Cynthia and Michael; her sister-in-law Pearl Layden Pink; and also, Robin Beth, Scott Brailey (Robyn), Paul Brailey (Jeanine), Glen Brailey, Susan Brailey, Matthew Brailey (Patty), Allison Brailey, Stephen Faulkner, Lee Whiting (Robyn) and Cheryl Swords (Tommy). She is also survived by many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Niantic Community Church Memorial Fund or the East Lyme Public Library.
