She is survived by: her husband Robert Vance; her sons, Robert Vance Jr. of East Haven and Dr. Jeffrey Vance of Shelton; her grandsons, Braden Vance, Tyler Vance and Nicholas Vance; her sister-in-law Helen Sherwood of Wallingford; and her daughter-in-law Amber Vance of East Haven.

Visitation was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home (Clancy Funeral Home) (43 Kirkham Ave, East Haven, CT 06512). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the St. Pio Pietrelcina Parish at the Church of St. Vincent de Paul (80 Taylor Ave, East Haven, CT 06513). A burial will be held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the All Saints Cemetery (700 Middletown Ave, North Haven, CT 06473).
