It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Quiterio Montalvo of East Haven, Connecticut, who passed away on March 3, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernardo Montalvo and Gregoria Santiago; his grandson Walter Montalvo; and his siblings, Julia Vega and Rosendo Montalvo.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Montalvo (DeCrescenzo); his children, Donna M. Stepien (John) of Clinton, Dominic P. Montalvo (Lisa) of Meriden and Bernard L. Montalvo (Joan) of East Haven; and his grandchildren, Dominic Montalvo (Annunziata), Danielle Montalvo, Natalie McCarn (Sean), Katheleen, Alex Montalvo, Bernard Montalvo, Jr. (Tabatha) and Matthew Stepien. He is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren, and many loving nieces, nephews cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 8:15 AM to 10:15 AM at the Washington Memorial Funeral Home (4 Washington Ave, North Haven, CT 06473). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Vincent de Paul Church (St. Pio of Pietrelcina Parish) (80 Taylor Ave, East Haven, CT 06512).
