It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Pasqualina Proto of East Haven, Connecticut, born in New Haven, Connecticut, who passed away on October 23, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Dominic S. Proto; and her siblings, Betty Streeto, Andrew and Charles Morro. She is survived by: her children, Anthony Proto of New Haven and Janice Volpe (Kevin A.) of East Haven; her grandchildren, Annamarie Williams (Marc), Dana Romano (Daniel), Dominic Proto (Clarissa), Amanda Rivers (Matthew) and Kevin D. Volpe (Alexandria); and her sister Judy Gavano (Matthew) of New Haven.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Porto Funeral Home (234 Foxon Rd, East Haven, CT 06513). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Pompeii Church (355 Foxon Rd, East Haven, CT 06513).
