He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugo Paecht and Eleanor Schappa (Curtis); and his siblings, James H. Paecht, John J. Paecht, Theodore Paecht and Evelyn Jette.
He is survived by: his wife Rose Marie Paecht (Romano); his son Karl Paecht (Mary) of Mystic; his granddaughter Kate Paecht; and his sister Sheila Thomas of Hamden.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home & Cremation Service (43 Kirkham Ave, East Haven, CT 06512). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Pio of Pietrelcina Parish at the Church of Our Lady of Pompeii (355 Foxon Rd, East Haven, CT 06513). The military honors will be held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 12:45 PM at the St. Agnes Cemetery (295 E Main St, Branford, CT 06405).
