He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph L. Amento and Pauline Amento; and his wife Alice DePalma Amento. He is survived by: his children, Lisa Amento, Michael Amento (Annette) and Michele Amento; his grandchildren, Andrea Polaski-Martin (Michael), Alisa Diglio (Gabriel), Kristina Polaski (Joseph Deko), Michael Amento Jr. (Amanda Pierce) and Xavior Cognata; his great grandchildren, Gia, Matteo Martin, Guy, Rory Diglio, Roman and Cairo Amento; and his sister Genevieve Amento. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 29th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the East Haven Memorial Funeral Home (425 Main St, East Haven, CT 06512). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Pompeii Church (355 Foxon Rd, East Haven, CT 06512). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Our Lady of Pomopeii Church (355 Foxon Rd, East Haven, CT 06512).
