She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Bates and Helen Bates (Ponte); her husband Albert Pacileo; her brother Edwin Bates; and her nephews, Robert Liscio Jr. and Shane Walter.
She is survived by: her children, Lynette Barcella (Robert) of Branford, Albert Pacileo III (Tracey) of Branford, Michael Pacileo (Mistie) of Durham, Kim Smith (David) of Arlington, MA and Dean Pacileo (Mindy) of Clinton; her grandchildren, Matthew, Kyle, Brianna, Rebecca, Sophia, Griffin and Sylvie Pacileo; her children, Thomas, Sarah and Jessica Smith; her great grandchildren, Tyler, Colton Pacileo, Giuliana and Madison Mascola; her siblings, Judy Liscio (Robert) of Northford, Harry Bates (Nina) of Branford, Keith Bates (Mechelle) of Georgia, Scott Bates (Cindy) of Georgia and Debra Bates Beasley (Mike) of Georgia; her sisters-in-law, Connie Bates of West Haven and Mindy Walter (Gary) of Florida; and her godson Nicholas Speranza of East Haven. She is also survived by numerous nieces/nephews and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home & Cremation Service (43 Kirkham Ave, East Haven, CT 06512). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church (80 Taylor Ave, East Haven, CT 06512). A burial was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 at the All Saints Cemetery (700 Middletown Ave, North Haven, CT 06473).
