He was loved and cherished by many people including: his daughter Gina Hyne (Michael) of Wallingford; his grandchildren, Emilia Frances, McKenzie Rose and Logan Anthony Hyne; his siblings, Anita Latella (Frank) of Wallingford, Nicholas C. Delano of East Haven and Lucille Markunas; and his close friend Deborah DiChello of East Haven.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 23rd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Porto Funeral Home (830 Jones Hill Rd, West Haven, CT 06516). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, October 24th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. John Vianney Church (300 Captain Thomas Blvd, West Haven, CT 06516).

“To the family of Anthony, I knew Anthony as a kid growing up in West Haven. We went to St Lawrence Grammar School together and became friends. I’ve always thought about him from time to time, especially at this time of year, as we would go out and “ring doorbells” together for the Halloween prank. He was a great childhood friend and very kind to everyone. Please accept my deepest sympathies. Deb Johnson”
