She was predeceased by: her parents, Alberto Piazza and Tessie Driend Piazza; and her son John Bowery. She is survived by: her husband Robert "Red" Bowery; and her daughter Kathleen. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Iovanne Funeral Home, Inc. (11 Wooster Pl, New Haven, CT 06511). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Pompeii Church (355 Foxon Rd, East Haven, CT 06513).
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to benefit cancer awareness, research, & care; Melissa Marottoli Hogan Foundation 6 Partidge Lane, Branford, CT 06405, Smilow Cancer Hospital or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
