With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Veona H. Cashman of East Hartford, Connecticut, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Veona left this world on March 8, 2025 at the age of 95, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Cashman; her parents, William (Caroline Hart) and Dorothy; her stepmother Dorothy; and her siblings, Gordon and Ardeth.
She is survived by: her brother Douglas; her children, Mark Cashman of New York, Traci Constantine of Enfield, Laurene D'Aversa (Douglas) of East Hartford, Lyle Cashman (Michelle) of North Carolina, Shari Melillo (Peter) of New Hartford and Cynthia Zorda (Barry) of Coventry; her grandchildren, Stephanie Dumont, Vanessa Barros (Kevin), Christina Snover, Amanda Constantine, Melissa Sirignano (James), Michael Constantine, Ryan Maradei, Nathan D'Aversa, Joshua D'Aversa, Joel Cashman and Timothy Cashman; and her great grandchildren, Liena, Vinny, Micah, Charlotte, Grace and Sophia.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 5th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Mulryan Funeral Home (725 Hebron Ave, Glastonbury, CT 06033).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Veona's memory to Meals on Wheels where she and her husband volunteered for over 30 years.
