He was predeceased by: his parents, Leroy Mapplebeck and Mary Mapplebeck (McManus); his son Robert J. Mapplebeck, Jr.; his brothers, Roy and Joseph Mapplebeck; his nephews, John Scott and Jeffrey Mapplebeck; and his goddaughter Jean Marie Mapplebeck.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Mapplebeck (Montano); his siblings, Marilyn Mapplebeck and John Mapplebeck (Pat); his stepson Todd Emerick (Julieann); and his grandchildren, Emily Emerick, Allison Emerick, Todd Emerick, Jr. and Holly Emerick.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Bob's memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 50 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN.
