It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard R. Washburn of East Hartford, Connecticut, who passed away on April 22, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, George Washburn and Jeanette Washburn (Williams); and his sister Nancy Rojas. He is survived by: his wife Patricia (Niemczyk); his children, Scott (Amy Washburn) and Traci Washburn of East Hartford, CT; and his siblings, Judith Keily of Manchester, CT, Elizabeth (Michael Chaloux) and George (Diane Washburn). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
