He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Simpson and Doretha Simpson; his siblings, Clarence Love, Gary Love and Gladys Simpson; his grandson Dedriech Simpson; his mother-in-law June Williams; and his brother-in-law Paul Williams.
He is survived by: his wife Arlene Williams-Simpson of East Hartford, CT.; his sisters, Bernice Love-Hicks of Windsor, CT and Connie Love of Hartford, CT.; and his close friends, Rick Risley, Lew Nedell and Mark Dressler. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews and family friends he loved.
