He is survived by: his wife Lorraine Roman; his son Joseph Roman (Crystal) of Missouri; his grandchildren, Cameron Roman, Madisyn Roman, Jaydinn Roman and Joey Roman; his daughter Melissa M. Roman of Hartford; his grandson Brandon Rosario; his stepdaughter Lisa Lawson; and his pet Nova. He is also survived by her two siblings, eight step-grandchildren.
