He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Kolek and Antoinette Kolek; and his wife Blanch. He is survived by: his children, Christine Kessler (Mark Cyr) of East Hartford, Joseph M. Kolek of East Hartford and Mary Stone (Christopher Stone) of Vernon, CT; his grandchildren, Kaitlyn Kessler, Jami Kessler and Sara Stone; and his sister Carol Benoit (Jean Lavoie) of Rocky Hill, CT. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
