He was predeceased by: his wife Mary C. Carney; his parents, John Carney and Christina Dugan Carney; and his sons-in-law, William Henaghan III and Thomas Edmonds.
He is survived by: his daughters, Christina McIver (John), Patricia Edmonds and Linda Henaghan; and his grandchildren, Alicia Sullivan (Ron), Jason McIver (Corri), Justin McIver, William Henaghan (Amy), Kendyl Henaghan (Mike), Devin Henaghan, Jessica Lepito (Joe) and Kristin Lambros (Jimmy).
