We bid farewell to James L. McGuire of East Hartford, Connecticut, born in Groveton, New Hampshire, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on September 24, 2024 at the age of 88. James touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry McGuire and Rilma McGuire (Prince); his wife Patricia B. McGuire; and his siblings, Forrest Maguire (Mick), John McGuire, Gary McGuire, Bethany Gould (Betty), Belvah King and Gloria Nugent (Godi).
He is survived by: his children, James H. McGuire of East Hartford, CT, Robert J. McGuire of Ocklawaha, FL, Matthew P. McGuire (Kathleen) of Glastonbury, CT and Meghan M. McGuire of Meriden, CT; his grandsons, Jordy D. McGuire (Emily) of Yelm, WA and Timothy C. McGuire of Glastonbury, CT; his great grandchild Declan J. McGuire of Yelm, WA.; and his siblings, Dean Maguire of Fall River, MA and Barbara Huber (Jack) of Gowanda, NY.. He is also survived by nephews and nieces.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 3rd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Samsel & Carmon Funeral Home (419 Buckland Rd, South Windsor, CT 06074).
