He is survived by: his wife Barbara Hosendove-Ford; his stepchildren, Walter L. Champion, Jr., Juanita L. Champion and Christopher L. Champion; his great grandchild Raheem H. Champion; and his siblings, Phillipia Ann Glover and James Elliot Ford (Erma). He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
