He is survived by: his parents, Fernando Sr. Ortiz and Rosa Ortiz of Enfield, CT; his sisters, Luz Galarza (Israel) and Rosa Correa (Victor L. Correa); his children, Ariana Ortiz, Noah Ortiz and Fiorentina Louise Ortiz; and his fiancée Brenda Kertenis of East Hartford, CT.. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
