It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Raymond of East Hartford, Connecticut, born in Scranton, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 6, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Donald E Raymond; her parents, Leo Stackowitz and Jean Stackowitz (Scoville); her sons, Thomas C. Raymond and Christopher D. Raymond; and her brother Richard Stackowitz.
She is survived by: her daughter Carol Goyer (Glenn); her siblings, Constance Coxhead and Gary Scoville (Fern); and her grandchildren, Sarah Merk, Kevin Merk (Bernadette) and Danny Raymond. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews as well as dear friends.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the New Covenant United Methodist Church (16 School St, East Hartford, CT 06108).
