It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Darlene Marie Googe of East Hartford, Connecticut, born in Stafford Springs, Connecticut, who passed away on July 17, 2020, at the age of 53, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Elizabeth Nelson (Trombly); and her brother Dale Nelson. She is survived by: her husband Alex B. Googe; her daughters, Danielle Burns and Samantha Burns; her granddaughter Olivia Olden; her siblings, Richard Nelson of Ludlow, MA, Donald Nelson (Meg), Dean (Michelle), Debbie (Sal), Diane Nelson and Doreen Nelson; her cousin Linda Szklarz (Brooks); and her niece Michelle Hanson. She is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws.
