He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Anna Skiba and Stephen Skiba; his son David Daniel Skiba; his wife Celia; his daughter Carrie; his son-in-law Jonathan Houk; his grandchildren, Ellie, Aidan and Audrey Houk of Coventry; his sisters, Lorraine Bertotti of New Port Richey and Marianna; and his brother-in-law Dominick Rinaldi of Vernon. He was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Elks National Foundation, c/o Claire Decker, Rockville Elks Lodge, 9 North Park Street, Rockville/Vernon, CT 06066.
