She was predeceased by: her parents, Julius Dixon and Mildred Gerald (Nelson); and her sister Daisy Franklin. She is survived by: her children, Jeffrey Cole (Tiffany) of West Haven, Charnell Gerald of Hartford and Hope Stewart of Bloomfield; her grandchildren, Jeremiah, Nylah, Maliah, Laylah Cole, Nasir White and Rahmir Hodges; and her siblings, Cecile M. Gerald of Hartford, Shirley Robinson (Louie) of Hartford, Cora Nelson of Hartford, Sonja Gerald (Lionel "Mickey" Holland) of Rochester, NY, Jerry Nelson (Jocelyn) of Hartford and Julius "JD" Gerald, III of Rochester, NY. She is also survived by 11 nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
