Alphonse J. Atspins Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 10, 2022, at the age of 97, Alphonse J. Atspins of East Hartford, Connecticut, born in Lawrence, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Povylas Atstupenas and Magdalene Atstupenas (Vaitiekunaite); and his sons-in-law, John Petrofsky and Dennis Tupper. He is survived by: his wife Rita Rectenwald; his daughters, Carol Marchingiano (Bill Grabek) of Colchester and Judith Petrofsky of Lebanon; his grandchildren, Kristi Corporan, Aaron Tupper (Suzanne) of Hebron, Jason Tupper (Bree) of Colchester and Bethany Petrofsky; his great grandchildren, Richard, Rebecca, Joshua, Dennis, Justin, Tyler, Zoey, Zachary and Sarah; and his great great grandchildren, Isabella, Madelyn and Dillon. He is also survived by his family, neighbors, and co-workers.
