She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob Horkavy and Emma Horkavy (Szenas); her son Shawn Vecchitto; and her brother Jacob "Jack" Horkavy. She is survived by: her siblings, Louis Horkavy of East Hampton, Janis Horkavy of Meriden, Betsy Horkavy of Wallingford, Cynthia Binkowski of Wallingford and Nancy Horkavy; her stepsiblings, John Crandal and Heattie Crandal; her niece Arline Bruenn; her granddaughter Vanessa Rosa; her great grandchild Alantra Rosa; her siblings-in-law, Evelyn Vecchitto and Vincent Vecchitto; her niece Jacqueline Kelo; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Beau and Caille. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
