With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nancy Hines of East Hampton, Connecticut, born in Hartford, Connecticut, who passed away on August 22, 2021 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, John N. Kane and Mary Kane (Lankamp); her husband Robert 'Bob Hines; her son Brendan Hines (Mandy); her grandchildren, Holden and Callahan; her son Ryan Hines (Amanda); her grandchildren, Lawrence and Johannes; and her siblings, Linda Horan (Gerald) of Amston and John N. Kane, Jr. (Joan).

“I was very sad to hear about Nancy passing away. I had the pleasure of attending both elementary and high school with Nancy. Her friendship was a valued part of my youth and and I can think of no person who better exemplified the true meaning of “friend”. Compassionate, empathetic, supportive and understanding are a few of the many words I could use to describe Nancy. Close friends are truly a life’s treasure and Nancy was that to so many of us.
