She was predeceased by: her parents, William Everett and Florence Everett; her husband Ward W. Steinmiller, Sr.; and her grandson Samuel E. Putnam. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 11 step-grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 11 step great grandchildren.
Memorial donations in Myrtle's name may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
