We bid farewell to Janet Lee Blanchard of East Hampton, Connecticut, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 7, 2025 at the age of 70. Janet touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Though Janet may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Janet touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Marcel J. Blanchard and Teresa D. Blanchard (Jarvis). She is survived by: her children, Sarah Smith (Michael) of East Hampton and Nathan Palermo (Soulinda) of Niantic; her sister Carolyn Doutre of Preston; her grandsons, Syd St. Onge, Sean Smith and Jacob Palermo; her niece Jennifer Doutre; and her nephew Jeffery Doutre.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Spencer Funeral Home (112 Main St, East Hampton, CT 06424).
