The memory of Evelyn Mary Royce of East Hampton, Connecticut, born in Hartford, Connecticut, who passed away on November 8, 2024 at the age of 96, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett Bennett and Mary Irene Bennett (Beckett); and her siblings, William, Harold, Everett Bennett and Clara Breton.
She is survived by: her children, Frederick A. Royce Jr. (Dawna) of East Hampton, Dorothy M Clark of Colchester, Francine A. Watson of Colchester and Brenda L. Grover (Dan) of Ledyard. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 9 great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Spencer Funeral Home (112 Main St, East Hampton, CT 06424). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the East Hampton Volunteer Fire Department.
