He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parent Quincette Nichols (Goss); his sons, Robert Mather (Diane) of Maine, Michael Mather (Mary) of Haddam and Stephen Mather (Kelly) of Bristol; his siblings, Clarence Mather (Alice) and Pat Mitchell of Westbrook; his grandchildren, Bethany, Casey, Barbara and Daniel Mather (Sydney); his great grandchild Hannah; his sisters-in-law, Geri Hutra of East Haddam and Mary Herel of Haddam; and his significant others, Mary Ann Maturo of Middletown and Trigger. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
