He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Gross and Agnes Gross (Wolf). He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Gross of East Haddam; his son Matthew Gross (Kanae Haneishi) of Valley City; his grandchildren, Koji, Niko and Sora Gross; and his nieces and nephews, Karen Wuebber, Eileen Uberti, William Brennan and James Brennan. He is also survived by numerous extended family and friends.
