She was predeceased by: her parents, Justin Luther and Mildred Luther (Taylor); her former husband Edwin H. Tanguay; her sisters, Virginia Swan, Doris Smith and Laura McClure; and her daughter-in-law Vickie Clark Tanguay.
She is survived by: her husband Pratt; her son Wayne Tanguay (LeeAnne Brophy) of Newington, CT; her grandchildren, David Tanguay (Veronica) of Durham, CT, Robert Tanguay (Samantha) of East Haddam, CT and Heather Shiffer (Clark) of Redding, PA; her great grandchildren, Evelyn, Lillian Shiffer, Rhiana and Raith Tokarz; and her siblings-in-law, Joyce Leffingwell and Palmer Smith. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends.
