George Bucko Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Bucko of East Haddam, Connecticut, born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 10, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Bucko and Helen Bucko (Dzara); and his sister-in-law Maureen Bucko. He is survived by: his wife Janet Bucko (Pawlowski) of Lake Hayward; his children, Nancy Chamberlin (James) of Marco Island, FL, Bonnie Tomick (Mark) of Lebanon and Aaron Bucko (Kim) of East Lyme; his siblings, Andrew Bucko (Linda) of Pittsburgh, PA, Ray Bucko of Hazlet, NJ, Gerard Bucko (Nancy) of Harrisburg, PA, Helen Bucko of Pittsburgh, PA and James Bucko of Pittsburgh, PA; and his grandchildren, Hunter, Anna, Garrett, Amanda, Avery, Kaleb, Jack and Evan. He is also survived by numerous other extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial donations be made in George's memory to the Gary Sinise Foundation, Brain Trauma Foundation and/or Habitat for Humanity.
