He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil Dill and Olga Dill (Fritz); his wife Barbara; his grandson Christopher Schiebel; and his siblings, Helen, Bill, Gus, Irv, Harry and John.

He is survived by: his daughters, Cynthia Dill of East Haddam and Judy Dill of Stafford Springs; and his granddaughters, Jessica Lecza, Michelle Panciera and Jennifer Simpson. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
