It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alyssa Kathryn Matterazzo of East Haddam, Connecticut, who passed away on May 24, 2021, at the age of 27, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Molly Brainard, Elmer Brainard and Anthony Matterazzo. She is survived by: her parents, Steven Matterazzo and Susan Matterazzo of Portland; her brother Thomas Matterazzo of Portland; her grandmother Jill Matterazzo of Higganum; her uncles, Daniel Matterazzo, David (Amy Matterazzo), Gary Brainard (Jackie Rominski) and Larry (Linda Brainard); and her aunt Vivian (Gary Butler). She is also survived by grand uncles and aunts, cousins, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that those who wish to express sympathy consider donating to their favorite charity in Alyssa's name.
