We are sad to announce that on May 24, 2022, at the age of 94, William Joseph Pitney of East Granby, Connecticut, born in Broad Brook, Connecticut passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Pitney and Gertrude Pitney (Stein); and his brothers, Louis, Kenneth, Thomas and James Pitney.
He is survived by: his wife Marie Pitney (Angello); his children, Lynne Pitney Goss (Dennis) of Somers, Robert W. Pitney (Kathryn) of South Windsor and Carl T. Pitney of Tariffville; his grandchildren, Christine Goss of Somers, William H. Pitney of East Granby, Sean Pitney of East Granby, Gregory Rabus (Jennifer) of Canada, Matthew Rabus of Ellington and Patrick Rabus of Colorado; and his sister-in-law Phyllis Maloy of Suffern, NY. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
